Ashlett Creek

A small but pretty harbour on the edge of Cadland and Fawley village. Ashlett Creek is the perfect spot for watching cruise ships and sailing vessels go by. Plus, you can hire kayaks and paddleboards here with our partners, The New Forest Paddle Sports Company.

At Ashlett Creek you will also find The Jolly Sailor, a 160-year-old pub on the banks of Southampton Water. This beautiful old smuggler's inn is dog friendly and boasts an open fire. There are plenty of walks from and to Ashlett Creek including a lovely 45-minute walk along the coast to Calshot Beach, where you can take in views of the Isle of Wight, Southampton Water and towards the Spinnaker Tower and Portsmouth.
