Exbury Gardens

Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway is the perfect place to lose yourself. It is a spectacular collection of landscaped woodland, herbaceous, contemporary and formal gardens, in a unique riverside location. Created by Lionel de Rothschild in the 1920s, Exbury is home to a world-famous collection of rhododendrons and azaleas creating an explosion of colour in the most beautiful setting. The gardens also include a working narrow gauge steam railway and replica station and children’s play area. There is an on-site restaurant and much of the gardens are accessible for wheelchair users. They are also dog friendly.
